Zoom
You can send a Zoom meeting or webinar to a Jetstream Studio stream and show it on your website and social channels.
Before you start
- Live streaming to a custom service must be enabled in your Zoom account settings. Zoom describes this in Live streaming meetings or webinars using a custom service.
- You need the host role in the meeting.
- Zoom sends video over RTMP, so use the RTMP tab of your stream.
Get the details from Jetstream Studio
- Open your stream. See Creating a Stream.
- In Stream Input, open the RTMP tab.
- Keep the Stream URL and Stream Key at hand.
Start the live stream in Zoom
- In the meeting, click More in the meeting controls.
- Choose Livestream, then Live on Custom Live Streaming Service. In some Zoom versions the item is directly in the More menu.
- Fill in the form that opens in your browser:
- Streaming URL - the Stream URL from Jetstream Studio;
- Streaming key - the Stream Key from Jetstream Studio;
- Live streaming page URL - the page where viewers watch: your website page with the stream, or the stream's address from Stream Output.
- Leave the option to require authentication for the broadcast turned off: Jetstream Studio does not need it.
- Click Go Live!
Zoom shows a LIVE label in the meeting while it is streaming.
Check in Jetstream Studio
Open the stream page: within a few seconds the status changes from Offline to Live (Preview on an Event stream until its event goes live).
To stop, click More → Stop Live Stream in Zoom.
